TO THE CHURCH OF EPHESUS
In this sermon, we journey into Book of Revelation 2:1–7, where Jesus Christ addresses the church in Ephesus. Commended for their perseverance, sound doctrine, and rejection of false teaching, the believers in Ephesus were faithful in many outward ways—yet they were lovingly confronted for having left their first love.
“To the Church of Ephesus” explores the danger of becoming spiritually busy but relationally distant from Christ. It challenges us to examine our own hearts: Have we maintained our passion for Him, or have routine and responsibility replaced devotion?
This message calls the church back to wholehearted love—remembering where we have fallen, repenting, and returning to the works born out of genuine affection for God. It is both a warning and an invitation: to rekindle our first love and shine brightly as a faithful witness in a watching world.
